Radiohead Tickets Bagged

Growing up in the 80's and 90's, was musically interesting. Wide range of musical flavours, all of which at the time I enjoyed but never felt the deep connection that I did when I first heard Radiohead.

It was one of the few bands that stayed with me, and as I grew older, their (readiohead) music changed and grew more complex and engaging. I managed to see them in concert in Paris which was a magical experience.

Having missed out on all of their tours to date, I was convinced I would never see them again, but still setup a google search for anything related to a tour, just in case anything came up. So when the 2025 tour was annouced I was very keen to grab some tickets and registered for tickets. But radiohead being radiohead, it was never going to be that simple, and I suppose to some extent with the problems with touts and resale of tickets at high prices, they had clearly tried to find a route to tickets that would stop the tout problem. But twitter/x filled up with people trying and failing due to technical problems.

After waiting some time for the ticket queue to allow me to purchase, I was greeted with a technical problem, so turned off every browser extension in an attempt to keep the site happy and the browser `back` button allowed me to pick up where I left off. Eventially I got the tickets!

Looking back on X, clearly a lot of people hit the same problem and was not happy. Considering the tech available to these site, it really is astonishing that we still hit these kinds of issues. Blocking bots or touts, is not a new problem and there has to be a better way to deal with the large demand of such an event.
